least favorites

a talented, funny, beautiful, relaxed friend of mine (who i've decided i don't talk to as much as i would like) posted a blog on least favorites, and how they often can tell more about a person than favorites. so i'm gonna tell you a few least favorites.

food: yogurt, or tomatoes.
non-physical activity: taking tests
physical activity: running
ride in disneyland: storybook land
thing people say after i tell them i go to MIT: "oh, you must be really smart" (or anything along those lines)

i love the beach too much

so why am i in boston? i don't know. but God knows, and that's definitely what matters. so i'm ok not knowing, because i know he knows. got it?

the beach was beautiful, disneyland was a dream, pepperdine was pretty, kevin is cute, heather is hilarious, the weather was wonderful, my TOMS were trusty, space mountain was splendid, the muppets were mischievous, starbucks was special, and these alliterations have been exhausted.

i love you.

goodnight.

i think i'd like to be a tour guide

mit is actually a pretty happy place on fridays. people eat lunch outside instead of hovered over their psets. the juggling club takes their place in lobby 10, where they will permanently reside for the weekend, performing tricks for the tourists and sad folk that have to be in a classroom. the tour guides walk by with all the high schoolers and their parents who are oblivious to what they've actually signed their kids up for. and best of all, there is an illusion of freedom, that you don't have anything to do for two whole days!!!!

but that's not really true.

but anyways.

i plan on spending my future waking hours reading good books, curling my hair, dressing up for dinner, and hopping on a plane to go see everything i really love.

i can't believe how beautiful it is outside. God is good.

weird mood, long week

i spent 6 hours driving today to spend 2 hours in a museum. wierd. the massachusetts museum of contemporary arts is, to say the least, out there. but it was a good experience, and if anything, i got paid for it all.

also, i will be hosed this week. there isn't enough time! (this is the part where you remind me that i was very bored not too long ago).

crazy realization of the week: i can choose to have a good day. what?

i miss heather!
